For the last couple of years, the thought of visiting London had been on my mind. I’m not sure what first piqued my interest in London, but once I started thinking about this destination, I made up my mind that I was going to visit it one day. I had actually intended to visit London earlier on, but as many of you have probably experienced in your own lives, the hectic pace of my schedule at work prevented me from doing this. Although I would get a couple of days off here and there, I was never able to secure a block of time off from work that would allow me to actually take a trip to London. However, I guess I can’t complain about having too many obligations at work. I know several people who have been laid off in the last couple of months, and I know that they would much rather be dealing with the stress of a job than struggling to find one that is anywhere close to decent.

Well, fortunately for me, I finally secured a block of time off of work, and as soon as I found out about it, I knew that I was going to travel to London. I made all of my arrangements on-line, and even though this was an international trip, I found it surprisingly easy to get everything take care of.

Now that I have returned from London, I can say that I loved it even more than I expected. I really got to experience a lot while I was there, and I would be happy to go back to London again someday if my schedule permits it.
